Epcot, formerly EPCOT Center (1982-1995), is the second theme park to open at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is based off of Walt Disney's EPCOT, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, a futuristic city to be built south of the Magic Kingdom as part of Walt Disney World.
Epcot has two "lands": Future World and World Showcase. Future World's attractions focus mainly on the future and technology. World Showcase features different countries (pavilions) around the world, with shops, shows, and attractions relating to those countries. Current pavilions in World Showcase are (in clockwise order):
